We are the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 291 in Newport Beach, California. Our membership consists of women whose sons, husbands, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sisters, daughters, mothers or grandmothers have served in the military during war time. We invite you to review our website, come on down and visit our facility, download an application, and consider joining our organization. We work together in supporting the aims and goals of the American Legion and numerous charitable and cause worthy organizations by conducting various fund raising campaigns and special events. We have a lot of fun and it's a great opportunity to meet other women in the area and get involved with making a difference.
Line Dancing Lessons each Tuesday beginners can come early for some specialize training and should be there by 6:15, the regulars will want to be there by 7:00 The lessons are free - Tip jar is available to assist the instructors.
In order to preserve our liquor license, non-profit status, and to comply with the ABC ruling for private clubs, we are requiring all guests to sign the guest book and be accompanied by a Post 291 member.All guests will be required to wear a “Guest Name Tag."
Don’t Forget every Friday night a live band performs from 7:00PM to 11:00PM.It is a tremendous time of dancing and fun, plus it’s a great way to meet other members.Rekindle the love, make it a date, and come out on Fridays for an evening of entertainment.
