 WELCOME
To Auxiliary Unit 291

We are the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 291 in Newport Beach, California.  Our membership consists of women whose sons, husbands, fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sisters, daughters, mothers or grandmothers have served in the military during war time.  We invite you to review our website, come on down and visit our facility, download an application, and consider joining our organization.  We work together in supporting the aims and goals of the American Legion and numerous charitable and cause worthy organizations by conducting various fund raising campaigns and special events.  We have a lot of fun and it's a great opportunity to meet other women in the area and get involved with making a difference.

New - Starting This Sunday

This Sunday, June 6th, beginning at 6:30,  Dave and Ida Stuart will be giving a Country Dancing class for couples.  They have been active with Sue's Tuesday line dance class, lending their many years of teaching experience to help the class grow in size and expertise.  They will feature some fun, mixer-type dances to begin with, and will focus on a 2-Step and a Waltz if there is a continued interest.  If you don't have a partner, show up anyway.  The more the merrier... They will be donating their time, but we'll have a Tip Jar out there if you wish to contribute.   They also bring along great music, so come on down and check it out!

Don’t Forget every Friday night a live band performs from 7:00PM to 11:00PM.  It is a tremendous time of dancing and fun, plus it’s a great way to meet other members.  Rekindle the love, make it a date, and come out on Fridays for an evening of entertainment.

Also, Sunday afternoons,Party on the Patio with a Live Band, Dancing, Bar, and Burn Your Own.  The prices are right, the people are great and view can't be beat.
